GREEN AND BLUE - PÉREZ SCREMINI FOUNDATION

Once again, The British Schools community came together to support the Fundación Pérez Scremini in our annual Blue & Green campaign. On Friday 19th May there was a Non-uniform Day in which students were encouraged to come dressed in green and blue to show their support.

Y11 - BUENOS AIRES CULTURAL

Senior

A group of 29 students from Y11 and Y12, together with three teachers (Ms Mariana Valdés, Mr Enrique Cederbaum and Mr Daniel Benzano), embarked on a tightly scheduled journey to visit the rich artistic cultural offerings of Buenos Aires.

Y5 VISITS PLACES OF WORSHIP

As part of the Unit of Inquiry, "Who We Are", Year 5 students visited the Cathedral of The Most Holy Trinity and the New Israeli Congregation of Montevideo.

BOOK WEEK 2023

Whole School

Book Week is an opportunity to celebrate children’s literature and promote the value of books for the education, enjoyment, and enlightenment of children. Across Junior and Senior, children, educators and families are invited to participate in Book Week between Tuesday, 23rd and Friday, 26th May.

Y11 & Y12 GEOGRAPHY TRIP

Year 11 and Year 12 IB Geography students went to Ciudad Vieja for a day of fieldwork investigating land use patterns and exploring the importance of tourism in the Old City.

Y12 VISITS CUDIM

Senior

On 8th May, Y12 IB Physics students made an educational visit to the Uruguayan Center for Molecular Imaging (CUDIM).

2023 PREFECTS

On Friday, 5th May, our Year 11 and Year 12 Prefects signed the historical book of Prefects.

Y6 - WE WELCOMED ST. ANDREW'S SCOTS SCHOOL FROM ARGENTINA

On the weekend of the 5th, 6th and 7th of May we welcomed students from St. Andrew's Scots School from Argentina.

Y3 - VISIT TO CARRASCO NEIGHBOURHOOD

As part of the Unit of Inquiry, “ How we organise ourselves,” Form 3 students took a walking tour around the neighbourhood of Carrasco, principally around the main street of Arocena.

Y11 - JUNTOS

Senior

On Wednesday, 29th March, the Y11 generation headed to Escuela 42, a rural school in San José, attended only by 5 students, a teacher and a cook. Although participation was voluntary, all the students in Y11 attended the activity.

Y7 - CAMP

Senior

On Friday, 24th and Saturday, 25th March, our Year 7 students participated in their generation camp.

JUNIOR - POETRY CONTEST

During the first week of classes, the Junior Library opened up a Poetry Contest for all students from Y4 - Y6.
