The "Buddy System" is an initiative and project created by students. It consists of a mentoring programme, where students in Year 4, 5 and 6, on a voluntary basis, have come forward to accompany the academic and social development of all Year 1 students.
In the context of the celebration of the International Girls in ICT Day, on 28th of April, all Computer Science students from 6YL were invited to participate in an open day experience at Montevideo Labs, a company that specialises in data science, big data, machine learning, and software engineering.
Last weekend, LAMUN took place with nearly 300 participants between the virtual and the in-person conference. Schools from Chile, Panamá, El Salvador, Paraguay , Vietnam, among others , were part of this first hybrid LAMUN conference.
Last Monday we celebrated the international Down Syndrome Day. Students received information on the matter to generate awareness and know more about own Syndrome.
The Hague International MUN 2022 Conference
The Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUN) 2022 saw 1595 participants from all over the world debate and actively engage in a five-day long conference.
On Tuesday, 22nd February, the whole School got together in a WS Assembly. The Assembly took place in the hockey pitch, where students from Prep to 6YL got together for the first time in a while.
