WELCOME BACK!

As the summer comes to an end, The British Schools welcomes back its students for another exciting academic year.

The first day of School for PREP – Y12 started with an Assembly in the School's Gymnasium, where students were greeted by Simon Roberts, the new Principal, and other School authorities.

The Assembly was an opportunity for students to reconnect with their peers and teachers, as well as to receive important information about the upcoming school year. The Principal addressed the students for the very first time, introducing himself and welcoming them back to School and setting the tone for the year ahead. Simon explained the importance of inspiring others: teachers, friends, staff members and everyone can be inspirational. He set a School theme for 2023: Be Inspirational!

The Head Boy and Head Girl, Luca Sonneveld and Federica Arregui made their first speeches as such, urging students to take advantage of every opportunity the School gives them, to make the best of the time at School and to be the person who makes someone's day better.

The first day of School is always an exciting time, full of anticipation and new possibilities. It is a time for students to set new goals and to make the most of the opportunities that lie ahead.
