U20 FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS OF THE LIGA UNIVERSITARIA

After 21 years without achieving it, the U20 football was proclaimed champion of the University League tournament.

16 teams began in the race for the championship, and by the middle of the year, 8 teams were left to fight for the Gold Cup. OBC was one of those. In a very even tournament, they reached the last instance with 4 teams with a real chance to become champions.

That encounter was played against Tennis Pinar and OBC had to win to become champions. Luckily, this happened in the last minutes with a goal by Hernan Hardoy and they won 1-0. That result gave them the championship.

We congratulate the students and alumni of the School for this important achievement also their coaching staff. We also congratulate Máximo Vargas who was the top scorer of the tournament.
