Piso Digno

We experienced a deeply meaningful day with our Community Commitment campaign, during which our entire educational Community came together with a clear purpose: to make a real impact on the lives of other families. On this occasion, we were proud to support the organisation Piso Digno, which is dedicated to improving the quality of life of people in vulnerable situations by building wooden floors in their homes.

The day was marked by a range of initiatives that reflected the commitment and solidarity of our students. We held a non‑uniform day, along with bake sales organised by Senior students and by parents in Junior, who worked enthusiastically to raise funds. In addition, a model floor was built on the School fields, allowing all students to take part actively and to understand the importance of something as essential as having a solid floor beneath their feet.

The results of this campaign exceeded our expectations. In the first year, we managed to raise funds for the construction of 9 floors; in the second year, we reached 11. This year, thanks to the collective effort of our entire Community, we achieved 15 floors, meaning that 15 families will see their quality of life transformed.

We would like to express our special thanks to our parent Community, whose support was essential in making this achievement possible. Thanks to their commitment, our Year 9 students will have the opportunity to take an active role in building these floors, bringing hope and dignity to each of the families involved.

Initiatives like this remind us of the true value of empathy, teamwork, and social commitment. Together, we continue to build not only floors but also a more aware and supportive Community.
