Celebrating World Poetry Day: A Wall of Words

To celebrate World Poetry Day, the Senior Library invited students and teachers to engage with poetry in an interactive way. A selection of poem fragments was displayed on the windows of the main entrance, offering moments of reflection, inspiration, and beauty. Readers could pause, explore different voices and styles, and take with them the verses that resonated most.

This simple, yet meaningful activity, turned a regular school day into an encounter with poetry’s magic. It was wonderful to see students and teachers stopping by, reading, talking about, and carefully choosing words that spoke to them. By taking a fragment, they carried poetry beyond the library walls, making it a personal experience to keep and share.
