Camp Y8: Rethinking our Webs

Our Year 8 students participated in an enriching camp experience at Parque 17 de Febrero, carefully designed to strengthen connections, foster community spirit and create opportunities for meaningful interaction and bonding among students.
Under the theme ‘Rethinking our Webs’, students were invited to reflect on the different networks that shape their daily lives. Through recreational activities, group dynamics, outdoor challenges and moments of shared reflection, they explored the importance of the connections that unite them and the value of building relationships based on respect, trust and mutual care.
During the two-day camp, students engaged in experiences that promoted cooperation, teamwork and independence, while also enjoying time in nature and taking part in the traditional campfire gathering. These shared moments helped strengthen their sense of belonging and community within the group.
We would like to thank all the teachers and organizers who made this experience possible, and congratulate our students on their enthusiasm, participation and commitment. It was undoubtedly a meaningful experience that will continue to inspire them as they build and rethink the webs that connect them to others.
