Special Class for 4YL: Studying abroad

In the context of the Vocational/ Occupational Programme, during the Form period our 4YL students had a special class with the school university counsellor in which they explored the process of applying to study abroad.

Students were introduced to different reasons that usually motivate students to study abroad as well as to the aspects to take into consideration when taking into account this study option.

As there is nothing better than sharing experiences with students who have been through the same process, four former students were invited to collaborate with this special class.

  • Juan Martínez, who is living in Buenos Aires, where he is working as an artist and studying Business Management and Administration at Universidad de Palermo, motivated them to follow their dreams.

  • Sol Slinger who is at NHL Stenden in The Netherlands studying International logistics highlighted the importance of following deadlines set in the application process.

  • Agustina Lagrenade who is studying music in Berklee College of Music highlighted how much she grew up with the experience of living on her own and meeting people from different walks of life.

  • Agustina Lombardi, who studies Comunicación at UM, joined our class from Universidad de Navarra in Pamplona, where she is currently doing an internship. She shared her enthusiasm and how enriching this experience is for her not only as a student, but as a young person.

All of them had in common their openness and willingness to help younger students! A real pleasure to have them back, at least, for a while!
