SENIOR SCHOOL FINAL ASSEMBLY

The Senior School finished their academic year on Friday with the Final Assembly.

Agustín Maggi, Master of Ceremonies, introduced HM Ambassador, Faye O’Connor, who congratulated the Class of 2022 before adding the importance of the ties between both the School and the UK, and the Uruguayan community and the UK.

Speeches were delivered by Mr Rosevear and Mr Bunt before the prizes were awarded by Board members and members of the SMT. The Head Boy, Bautista Martínez and Head Girl, Sofía Civetta, as well as giving their final speeches, handed over their roles to next year’s Head Boy, Luca Sonneveld, and Head Girl, Federcia Arregui.

Juan Ignacio Gutiérrrez from 5YL will be a new Prefect for 2023. The following students from 4YL – Sofía Casella, Lucía Rodríguez, Delfina Ibarburu, Lola Shaffer, Franco Malde, Nikolas Calfopoulos, Felipe Suárez, Nicolás Mattsson – will be Prefects.

Congratulations to all of them for obtaining the highest student recognition.

Finally, Mr Martin Wells, deputising the absent Board Chair Mr Ian Mc Connell, closed the ceremony with a speech thanking everyone for a successful year.
