Global Young Leaders Conference
During the months of June/July 2018 some 4YL students: Pilar Elgorriaga, Joaquín Espiga, Jacinta Guelfi, Natalia Lamolle, Federico Salmon, Julieta Tejera and Camila Varela participated in the "Global Young Leaders Conference (GYLC)" program where they performed several activities: a United Nations simulation, cultural visits and conferences of numerous world leaders.
Among some reflections we include the following:
"GYLC, more than a simulation of the United Nations in two of the most beautiful and cosmopolitan cities of the world such as Washington and New York, is a cultural trip in its entirety. The visits to museums and monuments, the conferences, and just talking with people from all over the world ensure a completely enriching trip. Just talking to a stranger provides you with insight and opens your head. More than fun, it is amazing, and no day goes without something, however minimal, surprising you or giving you something to think about and keep reflecting. It is a trip with a group of teenagers from abysmally different cultures but who are on the same line, wanting to know and learn and have fun all the time." Pilar Elgorriaga
