Y3 - VISITS MAPI

Form 3 students visited the Museum of Pre-Columbian and Indigenous Art, as part of the first line of enquiry in PYP Unit 3 - "How a culture of the past expresses itself".

To learn more about the indigenous people who inhabited our territory and the work done by archaeologists, the students carried out an archaeology workshop where they had to: observe, find objects, formulate hypotheses, manipulate instruments such as magnifying glasses, spatulas, paintbrushes and callipers. They then analysed their findings and wrote a report. The visit to MAPI is not only motivating for new concepts but also to reaffirm the concept of heritage studied in the previous unit.
