Environmental Think Tank
On Saturday 12th May, a group of 25 students from Junior participated in a ThinkTank at the Uruguayan American School (UAS). Students and staff from various schools in the local area gathered to listen to several experts speaking about a range of environmental issues.
After the presentations, students visited various stalls set up by the speakers, where they could ask questions and talk about the information received. CEPA (Centros Educativos por el Ambiente - Educando en Convivencia) hopes this event will spark future collaborative projects amongst the students of the different schools, on improving of the local environment.
