A Human Library

A Human Library

This week, Year 5 students  had an incredible experience in their classroom as they hosted “a Human Library!” Parents became "living books," sharing their personal stories, values, and beliefs with our students. It was inspiring to see the curiosity and engagement as students asked thoughtful questions and made meaningful connections.

Through these conversations, students gained a deeper understanding of how beliefs shape who we are and how they influence the choices we make in our lives. This experience tied beautifully into our Unit of Inquiry: Who We Are, reinforcing the importance of perspective and open-mindedness.

A huge thank you to the parents who participated and made this event so special! Your stories truly brought learning to life.
