MUN SEMINARIO

A Model United Nations conference, hosted by Colegio Seminario was held on Saturday, 30th July.

24 British School students attended the conference, both as delegates and Student Officers. It was a very enriching day where the different committees debated on how to create "a safer and more peaceful Middle East". Topics such as the situation of women in Afghanistan, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the situation in Syria were discussed.

Once again, our students brought out many of the values promoted by the School, such as empathy, the ability to listen, to adopt different perspectives, to be tolerant and to argue their positions. Now, the MUN club is preparing for the next conference, which will be held on the 10th of September at St. Brendan's.
