HM QUEEN ELIZABETH II (1926 -2022)

“With great sadness The British Schools has learnt of the peaceful passing of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022), and extends its condolences to the Royal Family and the people and government of the United Kingdom. Queen Elizabeth ll was the longest-reigning British monarch, and the second-longest reigning sovereign monarch in world history. May she rest in peace.  

Her loss is deeply felt by The British Schools and the entire School community.  An assembly honouring Her Majesty will be held for the whole School next Tuesday to which Her Majesty´s Ambassador has been invited. The School is flying the Union Jack at half-mast since yesterday.”
