F5 & F6 VISIT FROM FALKLAND ISLANDERS

Forms 5 and 6 thoroughly enjoyed a recent assembly led by some Falkland Islanders who work in the agricultural and farming industry. Their talk provided a fascinating insight into the daily lives of islanders, whilst allowing the students to engage with questions linked to their interests. Many gasped in awe at the wildlife portrayed through video and photography that demonstrates the wonderfully diverse climate and landscape synonymous with the islands.
